Sex Orgasm and Reproduction

What is orgasm? Orgasm is the pleasurable sexual response that men and women experience during sexual intercourse. The normal or usual human sexual response is for the woman to experience orgasm before the man. But for some couples, the response is reversed; the man experiences orgasm first, and by stimulation, the woman follows.
A woman orgasm consists of two phases. The first and major contraction is by the Kegel’s muscle, which is located on the floor of the vagina. The succeeding contractions are lesser in degree but come in multiples. In these two phases, the uterus and cervix are involved.
In the same way, the sperms, when ejaculated by the male partner in the vaginal canal, are not affected by orgasmic response. Sperms are very motile (movable). They naturally find their way into the fallopian tube where the egg lodges after ovulation until it gets fertilized by the sperm. Days later, the fertilized egg gets implanted in the uterus. Only one sperm has the privilege to penetrate the egg. The egg and the sperm, therefore, are not “flushed” out by any form of orgasmic contractions. Thus, a woman can get pregnant when there is sexual intercourse during her ovulation period, with or without orgasm.
